Con Sheffer and Mark Hazzard met in 2008. A musical bond was formed at the onset. Our first performance was an event at the Shedd Institute in Eugene. "Lady Be Good" was the first song we played live. We have performed for some private events at the Eugene Country Club, and were invited to play a regular engagement at the historic Eugene Hotel,

As we played, our audience consistantly asked for something to take home, so this CD was born. The song selection is a combination of suggestions that were given to us by the audience, and songs that we love to play. We wanted to record some good old standards and then add a few that weren't on every bands playlist.

The songs were recorded at my studio. There were no overdubs other than the vocals. The bass and drum parts are computer generated, and we recorded our parts simultaneously. I must admit we had a lot of fun recording these selections. I hope you enjoy listening to them as much as we love playing them.
